SHG Portugal (Swiss Hospitality Group) is a private international school in Lisbon specialized in hospitality and business studies. It offers Bachelor’s degrees (Bachelor in International Hospitality Management) and MBA programs. Each academic year, students spend half of their time in theoretical classroom instruction and the other half in paid internships at luxury hotels.
All courses are taught in English. For local students (living in Lisbon with proficiency in Portuguese), some programs are fully funded. EU and non-EU students have different fee structures, but internship salaries help offset costs.
In addition to core degree programs, SHG Portugal offers language courses in multiple languages including French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic. These augment students’ skills particularly in international hospitality management.
