ISM University of Management and Economics

ISM University of Management and Economics (ISM Vadybos ir ekonomikos universitetas) was founded in 1999 in Kaunas as Lithuania’s first private institution focused on business education. Its roots trace back to the Business Training Centre (BMC), established in 1995 to provide executive education. With strong support from BI Norwegian Business School and the Norwegian Industrial and Regional Development Fund, ISM was designed to bring modern, innovative business education to the Baltic region.

More than just a university, ISM functions as a hub for executive training, market analysis, and consultancy services. Its consultancy and training department, evolving from BMC, continues to deliver customized solutions to the business sector. Through executive programs, personnel assessment tools, and market research, ISM successfully bridges academic knowledge with real-world business practices.
