Karelia University of Applied Sciences

Founded in 1992 and located in Joensuu, Eastern Finland, Karelia UAS is a multidisciplinary, highly connected, international, and innovative organization offering Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. Karelia UAS provides 23 programs across seven fields, six of which are at the Master's level, covering areas like healthcare and social sciences, business, engineering, forestry, media, and hotel management. Karelia UAS is a recognized actor in education, playing a key role in regional development, international cooperation, and research, development, and innovation (RDI) activities, and is active in various national and international networks across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. It is also a member of the INVEST European Universities Alliance, a consortium for the holistic internationalization of education, mobility, services, and RDI. We offer excellent conditions for internationally focused students working to become future experts, allowing all students to work closely with local companies and other educational institutions on exciting RDI projects.
